Enhanced Farming

The Enhanced Farming mod is a modern reinterpretation of the classic "Better Farming" addon by developer iBlackShadow, which was popular in Minecraft version 1.6.2. After the original mod's author stopped appearing online at the end of 2014, this project took on the task of not only restoring all the original functions but also expanding them in future updates.

Main Features

Trees and Plants The mod adds various fruit trees to the game, including apple, avocado, banana, cherry, lemon, mango, olive, orange, and pear. The peculiarity of these trees is that their saplings don't grow like ordinary ones - they first develop similar to agricultural crops, and only then turn into full-fledged trees.

Agricultural Crops Your farming arsenal will be supplemented with new crops: eggplant, corn, cucumber, garlic, grape, lettuce, mint, nether flower, onion, pineapple, and tomato. Each crop has its own cultivation and usage characteristics.

Useful Tools and Mechanisms

• Scarecrow that effectively repels mobs from your plantings
• Rakes for collecting seeds when processing grass blocks
• Pressing system using pistons (for example, to obtain olive oil from olives)
• Large number of new food recipes

Technical Features

To view all available recipes, it's recommended to use the JEI mod. It's worth noting that when using fast graphics in the game settings, you won't see the difference between standard foliage and fruity leaves - this is a known issue that will be fixed in future versions.
