[ARCHIVED] Enhanced Progression

This mod is no longer supported by the developer. Originally, it was a specialized data pack created for my main modpack. In most cases, it is recommended to use the more advanced alternative - Revamped Progression. This page is preserved for historical purposes, and in the future, the project will be replaced by a full-fledged mod that will become part of my main modpack and complement another upcoming mod.

Modification Features

Stone Tools Require Stone - stone tools can no longer be crafted from cobblestone; regular stone is now required.

Flesh to Leather (optional mod Flesh 2 Leather) - included in the Enhanced Legacy pack, makes leather armor more accessible and deepens the early game stage.

Nuggets from Furnaces - the regular furnace smelts ores into nuggets, slowing early-game progress until a blast furnace is obtained. The system is based on the CC's Stone Age data pack.

Cheaper Smithing Table - the crafting recipe has been changed with new variants using smooth stone and copper. Recipes can be viewed in the image gallery.

Craftable Chainmail and Chains - chain recipe now requires 3 iron nuggets, and chainmail can be crafted from chains, providing an intermediate tier between leather and iron armor. Leather armor can also be upgraded to chainmail using a chain at the smithing table.

Blast Furnace - access to iron gear requires a blast furnace with a new recipe that can be found in the image gallery.

Rose Gold Gear - added via the Additional Additions mod. Since diamonds become rarer, you can create rose gold alloy from gold and copper to upgrade iron (or gold) armor at the smithing table.

Diamond Nuggets - diamond ore in the Overworld drops several nuggets when mined without Silk Touch, making diamonds rarer and extending the mid to late game stages. This also better balances Silk Touch and Fortune compared to the vanilla version.

Smelting Raw Blocks - raw ore blocks in a regular furnace yield one ingot, while in a blast furnace they yield a full mineral block, adding an extra layer of convenience.

Blaze Powder from Lava - with Ender pearls and blaze rods no longer essential for progression in Enhanced Legacy, lava buckets can now be smelted into blaze powder. Especially useful if you can't find a fortress or want to use Waystones without the need to visit a fortress.

Dependencies

Most features require additional mods to function:

• Oxidized

Without these mods, the modification will not work correctly.
