EnhancedChat - Improved Chat for Minecraft

The EnhancedChat modification fundamentally transforms the standard communication system in Minecraft, adding numerous useful features for more comfortable chat usage.

Main Features

Text Color Formatting Now you can use color codes to decorate your messages in chat. For example, typing "§1text§rtext" will display as "blue textnormal text". This feature requires the mod to be installed on both client and server.

Mention Notifications The system notifies you when someone mentions your nickname using the @ symbol in chat. The notification appears similar to those generated by the /title command. Works only on the client side.

Chat History Length Configuration You can change the number of displayed messages in chat history. By default, 100 recent messages are shown, but this value is easily adjustable in settings.

Advanced Message Filtering

• Automatic removal of unwanted messages using regular expressions
• Message content modification through regex substitutions

Clear Commands Added "/enhancedchat clear" and "enhancedchatclient clear" commands for clearing local chat history. The client command clears your own history, while the server command attempts to clear history for all users by sending 1000 empty messages.

Configuration

All features are easily customizable through the configuration file or settings GUI. Use "enhancedchat reload" and "enhancedchat client reload" commands to apply changes.
