Entity Glow

The Entity Glow modification adapts the entity outline highlighting feature that appeared in Minecraft version 1.9 and above for use in version 1.8.9. Although the technical foundation for this function is already present in the game code of 1.8.9, it is not utilized in the standard way.

In the original version 1.8, highlighting is only available in spectator mode when pressing a specific key combination. However, many servers, including the popular Hypixel, transmit the necessary information about game entities to clients, allowing for full implementation of their outline highlighting. Unfortunately, item NBT data is not transmitted to version 1.8.9 clients.

Starting from version 1.0.2, an option for forced outline display for team members has been added, which is particularly useful in team game modes.
