Equipment Compare [Fabric]

This is the Fabric version of the mod. If you need the Forge version, follow the appropriate link.

Equipment Compare is a configurable client-side mod that significantly simplifies equipment comparison. Especially useful in modded environments with numerous unique items to analyze!

Working Features

Unlike most comparison mods in tooltips, this mod simply displays information about what your character is already wearing next to the description of the item you're hovering over. This approach provides broader support for new stats and features added by other mods.

Requirements

The mod requires Iceberg to work. Versions below 1.3 also require Cloth Config API, while versions 1.3+ require Forge Config API Port.

Client Side

The mod works entirely on the client side and doesn't require installation on the server.

Configuration

By default, to display comparison tooltips, you need to hold the Shift key and hover over an item. This behavior can be changed through keybindings in the inventory control section.

Additional options are available in the mod's configuration file:

• Reverse behavior (always show comparisons except when the key is held)
• Color and text settings for the "equipped" badge that appears above tooltips
• Ability to specify a list of item IDs to exclude from comparison
