Etched: 1.20.1 Fabric Port

This is a ported version of the Etched mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 on the Fabric platform. The original mod was created by Moonflower Studio.

Features and Capabilities

Etched introduces new ways to play your own music directly in Minecraft! Create customized records with full personalization options using the new Etching Table. The mod also offers innovative methods for playing all types of discs.

The new Album Jukebox can store up to 9 records that will play in sequence and repeat, unless activated by redstone - in which case playback pauses and resets to the first disc.

The Jukebox Minecart allows you to enjoy music on rails with the ability to load records through hoppers or restart tracks using activator rails after a song ends.

Key Features:

• New bard profession for villagers with various musical trade options
• Diverse music playback methods: Jukebox Minecart, Album Jukebox, or Radio! Listen to tracks while traveling, live radio station broadcasts, or multiple songs in sequence with repetition
• Loading records into jukeboxes using hoppers - a feature similar to Bedrock Edition
• Creating your own unique records with the Etching Table! Simply provide a URL (supports SoundCloud, MP3, WAV, OGG, and sound events), a blank disc, and a label for customization

Bugs Fixed in This Version

• Fixed the boombox model that previously appeared as a black and purple cube
• Resolved the right arm animation issue when playing music through the boombox while using Serious Player Animations
• Corrected improper functionality of some SoundCloud tracks
• Solved the problem with texture application to discs when selecting them in the Etching Table

Regarding Found Bugs

No bug reporting page is provided. If you discover issues, you'll need to resolve them yourself. This page was created solely to share the port with other users. Major critical bugs were fixed with the help of another developer, but the author lacks sufficient modding skills for further support and resolution of potential problems.
