Explorer's Suite

For those whose souls yearn for adventure.

Explorer's Suite offers a set of convenient tools with extensive customization options that make exploring the Minecraft world more immersive and realistic.

Main Features

When you hold a compass in your hand, the screen displays your direction and coordinates. This functionality can be configured by modifying the explorerssuite:displays_coords tag.

If you're holding a clock, you'll see the in-game time in 12-hour real-world format. The text color for day and night can be adjusted in the configuration, and the item for displaying time can be changed via the explorerssuite:displays_time tag.

Building Conveniences

Right-clicking on a ladder while holding another ladder automatically places it below the existing one if possible. This feature can be toggled in settings and configured via the explorerssuite:ladders tag.

Campfires appear unlit when placed, which can be changed in the configuration.

New Items and Mechanics

Added a fire starter crafted from two flints that can ignite campfires and candles but doesn't cause fires in the world.

Pigs drop tallow upon death, which serves as an alternative to honeycombs for crafting candles. This mechanic can be disabled in settings.

Sweet berries and glow berries can now only be placed after being turned into pips. Items that cannot be placed directly are configured via the explorerssuite:cancel_placement tag.

Magical Candles

Added incensed and infernal candles. The former gives nearby players the Calming effect, while the latter gives Insomnia. The more candles in a group, the farther their effect reaches.

You can also brew Potions of Calming and Insomnia by combining a ghast tear with a mundane potion. The Insomnia potion is the opposite of the Calming potion.
