Extraordinary Extra Totems
This Fabric mod introduces six unique Totems of Undying, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Collect Totem Remnants scattered throughout the world, craft new totems, and use them in battle! And after long adventures, why not display them in your treasure room as impressive 3D models?
Items
To get started, you'll need to acquire a new item called Totem Remnants.
Totem Remnants can be obtained in various ways:
- Activating any Totem of Undying (both standard and new ones)
- Defeating Evokers
- Searching chests in various structures
- Trading with Wandering Traders
After collecting enough Totem Remnants, you'll be able to create any of the five new totems:
- Unstable Totem of Undying
- Unreliable Totem of Undying
- Confused Totem of Undying
- Strange Totem of Undying
- Fragile Totem of Undying
While this seems like a great way to get additional totems, each has its own drawbacks, so choose wisely. For example, the Unreliable Totem of Undying only works 80% of the time, which fully justifies its name. As for the other totems... You'll have to find out for yourself!
But wait, that's only five totems. What about the last one?
To craft the Ominous Totem of Undying, you'll need any regular totem and several Ominous Totem Remnants, which can only be found in Nether structures. Because of this, you'll need to spend time exploring the world before gathering enough remnants to create this totem. However, the effort is worth it: when activated, it provides you with a special status effect in addition to powerful standard effects.
Effects
When activating the Ominous Totem of Undying, the player receives a new status effect called Death's Favor. Under this effect, the player becomes nearly immortal, as in most cases their health doesn't drop below 1 HP. This effect is extremely beneficial, significantly easing your life without serious drawbacks.

Placeable Totems
Did someone mention placeable totems?
That's right, any totem can now be placed on the ground as a 3D model! This is definitely easier for showing them off to others. However, placing a totem on the ground during battle would be quite unfortunate, so remember that you can only do this while sneaking.
