Extreme sound muffler

Extreme sound muffler is a client-side mod that allows you to selectively mute sounds in Minecraft.

Now with dark mode! Activate it in the configuration settings.

Compatibility: The mod works with FORGE and FABRIC.

How to use

1. Click the button in your inventory or assign a hotkey to open the interface.
2. Select the sound you want to mute by clicking the button next to it.
3. Optional: adjust the sound volume using the slider.
4. Optional: press the play button to make sure it's the right sound.
5. Enjoy the silence.

What are Anchors?

Anchors are zone-based sound mufflers that work within a specific area.

1. Open the ESM interface.
2. Select one of the 10 numbered buttons.
3. Press the marker button on the right panel to set the Anchor position.
4. Optional: press the edit Anchor button (next to the marker) and set the name and range.
5. Mute the sounds and enjoy localized silence.

The Anchor position can be changed at any time by pressing the marker button again.

Inventory button

• If you don't like the muffler button in the inventory, you can disable it in the settings.
• If you're not satisfied with the button's position, hold the right mouse button over it and drag it to any convenient location.

Configuration

Almost all mod elements can be customized:

• Placement of mute and play buttons on the left or right for convenience.
• Disabling the Anchor system.
• Blacklist of sounds so they don't appear in the ESM interface.
• Selection of default volume level for muted sounds.
• Disabling the inventory button.
