Curse Silence

This mod addresses the issue where players intentionally avoid equipping cursed chestplates when they see the corresponding warning in tooltips.

The Fabric client-side modification offers three different modes for hiding curse information:

Hint (default mode) - hides the curses themselves but adds a "Cursed" line to the item description to warn about the presence of at least one curse. The enchantment glow effect is preserved.

Level - removes curse names but displays their quantity through an indicator similar to enchantment level display. The item glow effect also remains.

Full - completely eliminates curse mentions from tooltips and removes the glow effect for items containing only cursed enchantments (if regular enchantments are also present, the glow is preserved).

It's important to note that enchanted books are not affected by the mod.

The modification is distributed under the MIT license. The author does not plan to port it to Forge.

Curse Silence may work in other game versions besides those for which the file is intended. Installing the mod in an unsupported version will not damage your world - in case of crashes, it can simply be removed without consequences.
