Fairy Lights

The Fairy Lights mod adds various hanging light fixtures to Minecraft that can be crafted in six different styles using any of the sixteen dye colors.
Crafting Light Fixtures

To begin, you'll need to craft the light fixtures themselves. Numerous design options are available: classic fairy lights, hearts, moons, stars, paper lanterns, orb lanterns, flower lights, candle lanterns, oil lanterns, snowflakes, icicle lights, and meteor lights. There are also Halloween-themed lights: spiders, ghosts, jack-o'-lanterns, skulls, and witch lights.

Garlands are created by horizontally arranging an iron ingot, string or stick, and another iron ingot, supplemented with a combination of lights to form patterns (left-right, top-down). Adding glowstone makes the lights twinkle. Using string creates sagging connections, while sticks provide straight lines. The crafted item shows only the first four colors, but the maximum number of lights in one garland reaches eight when combined in a crafting table.

Pennants

Below are examples of pennant bunting recipes.

Using Fairy Lights

To install garlands, decorative ribbons, or bunting, right-click on the side of a block or an existing fastener. This creates a connection from the fastener to your character. Complete the installation by right-clicking on another side of a block or another fastener. The maximum length of one garland is 32 blocks.
The sag of garlands, ribbons, and bunting can be increased by using string on them or decreased with a stick. Turning lights on and off is done by simply right-clicking.
Compatibility with Other Mods
