Enrich Your Nether
This mod fundamentally transforms the Nether by adding numerous unique creatures and items that make exploring this dangerous territory even more exciting. Each new creature has its own features and mechanics, giving them individuality and creating new challenges for players.
Important: The mod is created exclusively for Forge and will not be ported to Fabric.
New Nether Creatures
Ghostly Inhabitants
Ghostly Zombie - floating transparent creature from Soul Sand Valley. Causes nausea when attacking. Drops: rotten flesh and lost soul.
Ghostly Creeper - doesn't deal direct damage but explodes upon death. Kill with golden sword or in golden armor to avoid explosion.
Stone Creatures
Blackstone Creation - hostile creature from Basalt Deltas. Blinds victims when attacking.
Basalt Slug - first you need to break its shell (get polished basalt), then kill the slug itself (drops magma cream).
Skeletal Animals
Several passive skeletal creatures inhabiting all Nether biomes:
- Skeletal Chicken - 4 HP, drops bones
- Skeletal Cow - 10 HP, drops bones
- Skeletal Pig - 10 HP, drops bones
Skeletal Spider - hostile creature that inflicts wither effect. Natural enemy of Tanglarp.
Forest Inhabitants
Warped Monstrosity - grabs and holds player, has increased knockback resistance. Can be calmed with scorching berry.
Crimine - passive creature that can be tamed with scorching berries.
Pixern - floating glowing creature. Right-clicking with any boots enchants them with "Lava Walker".
Tanglarp - neutral creature that attacks skeletal spiders. Only attacks player in response.
Fungan - when taking damage, randomly applies effects: levitation, mining fatigue, slowness, weakness.
Lava and Fire Creatures
Flamus - can be ridden without conditions, attacks when hurt.
Magma Lizard - shy creature. Can be placed in lava bucket, when released gives fire resistance.
Living Soul Flame - takes damage from water. When fed soul fungus gives speed and extinguishes burning.
Special and Rare Creatures
Mutre - lives inside Nether mud blobs, poisons when attacking.
Wildfire - enhanced blaze with shields. Runs on land, requires breaking shields before killing.
Peetry - immobile creature, upon first damage summons 14 shadowy wisps.
Yongire - flying enemy of Skrey. When attacking causes nausea and blindness for 7 seconds.
Skrey - neutral flying creature, enemy of Yongire. Babies can be taken as pets.
Soul Leech - attaches to player's face. To remove - crouch (SHIFT).
Lava Angel - floating creature, drops fiery soul for creating effect spreaders.
Floating Wither Skull - applies wither II for 9 seconds.
Ironshell Snail - passive creature, deals thorns damage.
Quartz Walker - neutral creature, exchanges quartz for experience (2-14 points).
Splitter - splits into two parts at low HP. Immune to fire.
Magmatic Piglin - survives in lava and fire, has 50% chance to set victim on fire.
Morterium - protects player, gives strength and resistance at night. Tamed with fiery souls.
Runiza - neutral creature, panics when attacked then counterattacks. At low HP leaves fire on path.
New Items
Wither Bone
Obtained from wither skeletons, skeletal spiders and floating wither skulls. Turns flowers into wither roses, used for creating tools and spreaders.
Scorching Berry
Grows in Crimson Forests and Nether Wastes. Used for taming crimines, planting and creating soup.
Lost Soul
Drops from various soul creatures. Used for creating transparent bricks, petrified wand and levitation potions.
Soul Fungus
Grows in Soul Sand Valley. Used for feeding living soul flames.
Nether Mud
Decorative block containing mutre inside.
Petrified Twig and Wand
Twig drops from peetry, used to create wand for summoning shadowy wisps.
Tail Protuberance
Drops from adult skrey, makes yongire lay eggs.
Yongire Scale
Drops from adult yongire, used for creating nausea potions.
Fiery Soul
Drops from lava angels. Used for creating effect spreaders and soul mask.
Effect Spreaders
Blocks that spread wither, poison and burning effects to enemies.
Soul Mask
Gives 40% chance to get free souls from killed creatures.
Quartz Blade
Weapon with increased damage against Nether creatures, has "Infernal Slayer" enchantment.
