🍰 Introduction to the Mod

We present to you a modern and fully functional unofficial port of the popular Farmer's Delight mod by vectorwing for the Fabric platform. This version is specifically developed for Minecraft 1.20.1 and newer versions.

As an additional feature, the mod temporarily includes the ability to flip burgers on a skillet - simply press the left mouse button while cooking any dish on a skillet.

Farmer's Delight is a mod that gently expands farming and cooking possibilities in Minecraft.

Using a simple cooking system and familiar ingredients, you'll be able to create various hearty dishes: from sandwiches to salads and stews, from exquisite desserts to appetizing feasts - no ingredient will remain unused in your kitchen!

The mod also offers a rich set of useful features: a way to improve soil quality for crop cultivation, a new type of tool for resource gathering, cute decorative elements for building, and numerous blocks and items that will help you in your adventures!

Question: How does this version differ from other existing Farmer's Delight ports for Fabric?

Answer: The main goal of this port was simplicity and maximum closeness to the original mod. This means that only minimal changes were made to adapt to the loader's specifics.

Package names and all existing mechanics are preserved without changes. This allows easy porting of addons from Forge to Fabric, ideally without any changes at all, since all package names are the same.

Question: Will existing addons work?

Answer: Although porting existing addons from Forge to Fabric will be simple, already existing Fabric addons created for the old port will NOT work, and they will need to be updated according to the new package structure.

Question: Can I use this mod in my modpack?

Answer: Yes! You can freely include Farmer's Delight in your modpacks and customize it as you see fit. Just remember:

• Always credit the authors and don't present Farmer's Delight as your own development;
• Always read the changelogs! Minor and major versions may sometimes contain critical changes that will be explained there.

Question: Will old blocks from the other FD port be preserved?

Answer: The mods use identical identifiers, so yes.

Question: Will addons for the other port be updated to work with this version?

Answer: This depends on their developers. Updating/porting an addon from Forge is not difficult, but it will still take some time and depends on the specific modder. Please be patient and don't bother the developers.

Question: For which Minecraft versions will the mod be updated?

Answer: Farmer's Delight Refabricated is currently being updated for versions 1.20+. All other versions are no longer supported.

Question: Will you make a backport of the mod for versions before 1.15?

Answer: No. This mod will never be ported to older versions. The codebase of older game versions is completely different and usually lacks important features that this mod depends on. Please, do NOT ask for backports!
