Farsight [Forge/Neo]

What does this mod do?

Farsight is a client-side utility that allows you to see much farther on servers than the standard server view distance allows.

How does it work?

The mod keeps chunks on the client side even after the server unloads them. The maximum distance is 64 chunks, and this value can be configured to suit your needs.

Compatibility

This is the Forge version. For the Fabric version, please refer to the corresponding mod page.

In newer versions, installation of the Cupboard dependency is required.

Settings

• Maximum distance for keeping chunk data is configurable
• The mod is required only on the client side
• Has no known incompatibilities and should work with any other mods
