Ferroustry is an innovative modification that introduces eight unique tree species based on various ores into the game. These plant structures serve more than just decorative purposes—the harvested wood can be smelted in a standard blast furnace to obtain corresponding metal ingots.
The trees do not naturally spawn in the world. To create them, you need to surround any sapling with eight blocks of the required ore, or use an alternative recipe with other types of blocks.
The modification's key feature is that the obtained wood has enhanced durability: its explosion resistance is twice that of regular wood varieties, and it is completely fireproof due to its geological origin.
Version 1.3 added six new tree varieties: bismuth, copper, tin, aluminum, silver, and lead.
