Flares (DRG Flares)

Tired of manually placing torches? Dreamed of being able to just toss a light source anywhere? This mod will make your wishes come true!

Flares recreates the flare mechanics from Deep Rock Galactic, giving you 4 signal flares that gradually regenerate as you use them! This is the most accurate adaptation of the original concept possible. You start with 5 flares, each of which burns for 5 minutes before extinguishing, then remains in place for another 5 minutes before completely disappearing.

A new flare appears in your inventory every 5 minutes, with the maximum number of available flares at any time not exceeding 5.

As with my other mods, there are numerous settings to suit every taste. If the standard parameters don't satisfy you, you can easily change them. Available settings include the number of flares per player, their burn duration, glow time after extinguishing, physical properties, and even the color of the glowing core!

Starting from version V1.1.0, entering the command "setflarecolor #hexvalue" in chat allows you to change the color of your flares to any hex value! Additional options like "rainbow", "jeb", and "random" are also available for extra fun!

All you need to do is install this mod, start a world, and press the V key to throw a signal flare!

If I ever return to developing this mod, I have several ideas for expanding and improving the functionality. We'll see what comes next!
