Flask of Life
Mod Overview
This modification adds a reusable healing potion to Minecraft, inspired by the Estus Flask from the Souls game series. This item can be crafted directly in the game (crafting recipes are available in the images tab), while almost all its characteristics can be customized through the item's NBT tags (detailed information about this is available on the mod's wiki page).
Main Features
Flask of Life - This is a potion that can be used up to 5 times. Each use restores 4 hearts of health. By default, the flask can be refilled by pressing Shift + Right-click on a bed or beacon.
Deep Customization - You can change durability, amount of health restored, percentage healing, potion effects, refill capability, cooldown time, breakability, animations, and sound effects through the item's NBT tags. For detailed explanation, refer to the wiki page.
Other Mod Support - The Flask can restore mana from the Electroblob's Wizardry mod and feathers from Elenai Dodge 2.
Development Plans
- Adding multiple potion effects to one flask
- Enchantments (possibly custom)
- Unique breaking sound
- Option to block usage when certain potion effects are active
Compatibility and Support
The mod has been tested in a pack of approximately 300 modifications without any crashes. If you encounter unexpected behavior or compatibility issues, please report them on the GitHub Issues page.
Updates for older game versions are not planned, but users can adapt the mod for the desired version themselves. Suggestions for new features can be left in the comments.
The mod can be freely included in any modpacks, both on CurseForge and other platforms.
