Fletcher

Fletcher is an advanced enhancement for PaperMC servers that unlocks the true potential of the fletching table by adding an innovative graphical interface. With this tool, you can create various arrows with unique properties for an entirely new archery experience.

Arrow Tips

The tip system allows using different materials to create arrows with special effects:

• Flint - Creates a Flint Arrow (standard arrow)
• Iron - Creates a Heavy Arrow that deals 2x damage but has reduced range
• Gold - Creates a Gilded Arrow that deals 1.5x damage and flies further than Heavy Arrows but less than Flint Arrows, also breaks on impact
• Glowstone Dust - Creates a Spectral Arrow similar to a flint arrow but applies the Glowing effect for 8 minutes on hit
• Echo Shard - Creates a Sonic Arrow that deals splash damage (and attracts nearby wardens)
• Ender Pearl - Creates a Teleportation Arrow that teleports the shooter to the landing point, but damages the shooter as if they were hit
• Slimeball - Creates a Bouncing Arrow that deals no damage but knocks back the struck entity

Arrow Shafts

Various arrow shafts provide movement characteristics:

• Stick - Standard shaft, no special effects
• Blaze Rod - Creates Blazing Arrows that fly 2x faster
• Breeze Rod - Creates Breezing Arrows that are less affected by gravity

Feathers for Accuracy

Feather control allows adjustment of arrow flight accuracy:

• 1 feather - Lower accuracy than standard
• 2 feathers - Standard accuracy
• 3 feathers - Perfectly straight trajectory

Tipped Arrows

Only Flint Arrows can be converted into Tipped Arrows using splash potions in the fletching table slot.

Compatible Enchantments

All arrow types except Tipped Arrows work with the Infinity enchantment, providing balanced gameplay that encourages experimentation with different arrow types while managing that iron arrows deal less damage than Potion of Harming II arrows.
