Fluid Physics [Fabric]

This mod combines standard Minecraft fluid mechanics with more realistic behavior while adding some additional features. Horizontal fluid flow remains unchanged, but when moving downward, the fluid carries its source with it.

Mod Features

• Liquid sources can flow downward
• Eliminates infinite water sources (but they can still be created by placing spring blocks next to liquid sources)
• Pistons can pump liquids
• Spring blocks generate under natural springs and prevent them from flowing downward
• Rain refills lakes and oceans (similar to infinite water sources in vanilla)
• Compatible with standard Minecraft clients (need to set the spring/block parameter to a vanilla block, such as 'mossy_cobblestone')

Known Issues

In some situations, liquid flow may stop. This is why demonstration videos show a glass block slowing water flow into a sandstone tank.
