FlySpeedPatch is a simple but effective addition that allows you to customize flight speed.

Why Was This Mod Created?

While developing custom entities, the author encountered a problem: changing the FlySpeed parameter yielded no results. Upon examining the source code, it became apparent that flight speed remains fixed when the player is airborne. This peculiarity eliminated the possibility of flexible parameter adjustment and the creation of unique flight characteristics for different creatures.

Warning

Using this mod may cause changes in flight speed for some winged mobs (for example, bees). This should be taken into account when installing and testing the modification.

The Essence of the Work

The mod removes limitations in the game mechanics related to the presence of solid ground under the player's feet. Now you can adapt flight speed to suit your needs and create truly unique gameplay.
