This modification is a fork of the popular Disenchanter mod that completely removes the ability to disenchant items without using a catalyst. The change was created specifically for a modpack where players were finding valuable enchantments on golden items in chests too frequently.

The developer believes that the process of removing enchantments shouldn't be so simple and cheap. For most users, it's recommended to use the original version of the Disenchanter mod, as this version is intended for specific gameplay conditions.
