FrostySouls is a fully recoded and highly optimized Minecraft data pack specifically designed for large multiplayer servers. The previous TimedLife version suffered from significant performance issues (TPS drop - ticks per second), but FrostySouls fixes these problems, ensuring smooth gameplay even under heavy load.
This data pack introduces a unique time-based survival system where each player starts with limited lifespan. The countdown begins with your first movement, and the objective is simple: extend your life by consuming rare resources. To increase your remaining time, you'll need to obtain and place netherite blocks, extracting their life energy from them.
Game mechanics:
- Time starts counting immediately after your first step
- Netherite becomes your chance for life extension - stand on these blocks and collect them
- Every decision is critically important for survival
- When the timer hits zero, instant death awaits

For those transitioning from the previous TimedLife version, a smooth upgrade process is provided: first run the uninstall function of the old data pack, then perform the reload in FrostySouls. It's important to note that all commands maintain the original timedlife prefix, but all players' time will be reset.
