Board Game Expansion for Minecraft
FRSM - Board Game Extension serves as an add-on to the base FRSM mod. This extension cannot operate independently without having the main FRSM mod installed.
Core Features
This modification introduces specialized blocks into the game that unlock exciting possibilities for players:
- Recreating board games - you can construct your favorite board games within Minecraft and enjoy them with friends
- Decorative applications - the blocks are excellent for decorating your worlds and creating unique gaming spaces
- Functional gaming elements - all added blocks feature interactive capabilities
Currently Available Features
Core Gaming Blocks
- Universal game blocks - available in all 16 dye colors, enabling the creation of diverse gaming boards
- Movement mechanics - when right-clicked, the block moves to the next available cell in front of it
- Chess towers - also move upon clicking, available in 16 different colors, breaking stereotypes about traditional black and white chess
- Game dice - the interactive Dice block operates in two stages: first click activates it, second click generates a random number
Planned Updates
Developers continue working on the mod and plan to add:
- Chess blocks - work on this feature is already 17% complete
- Specialized game fields - blocks for creating gaming arenas
- Movement settings - configuration option to restrict block movement to special field blocks only
- Crafting recipes - creation recipes may be added based on community requests
