Fullbright [Permanent Night Vision]

Feature Overview

This data pack provides all players on the server with the ability to activate permanent lighting mode. Each participant can independently enable and disable this feature at any time using the command /trigger ToggleFullBright. The solution works excellently in both multiplayer mode and single-player gameplay!

Installation and Removal Guide

Data Pack Installation

Navigate to the game saves folder, which on Windows systems is located at:

C:\Users(your name)\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\saves

Place the archived file in the data packs directory, then restart your world or execute the /reload command.

Data Pack Removal

• Execute the command /function mpfullbright:uninstall. Do not reload the game before deleting the pack.
• Delete the data pack and then execute /reload

Additional Settings and Features

Parameter Configuration

• You can add players to the blacklist, preventing them from using the lighting mode by assigning them the FB_blacklisted tag (command: /tag <player> <add/remove> FB_blacklisted)
• Disable automatic lighting mode activation by default using the command: /scoreboard players set FBDisabledByDefault mpfb.config <1/0> (1: enabled, 0: disabled)

Important Notes

• The solution works correctly in single-player mode!
• This data pack makes night vision potions useless since you can simply activate permanent lighting
