Furnaces Galore - Enhanced Furnace System
This mod significantly expands smelting capabilities in Minecraft by adding several new furnace types made from different materials. Each subsequent furnace outperforms the previous one in processing speed, with acceleration values being configurable through a configuration file.
Types of Added Furnaces
- Copper furnace: accelerates processing by 1.5 times (default value, but configurable)
- Iron furnace: provides acceleration of 2.1 times
- Gold furnace: works 3.3 times faster than standard
- Diamond furnace: speeds up smelting by 5.5 times
- Netherite furnace: maximum acceleration of 10 times
The cost of creating furnaces increases as you move to more advanced levels - each subsequent furnace requires using the previous level for crafting, with materials becoming rarer and more valuable.
Usage Features
The higher operating speed comes at a price - accelerated furnaces consume fuel much faster. To solve this issue, the mod adds a special item - Furnace Catalyst, which significantly improves fuel efficiency. The benefits of using the catalyst become especially noticeable when working with high-level furnaces.
