Gifts of Giving

Gifts of Giving is a compact modification created specifically for the Christmas holidays, but which can be used at any time of the year!

The mod introduces new gift box blocks into the game, available in all dye colors. These blocks not only look cute and are great for decoration, but also have practical functionality! To prepare a gift for a specific player, simply rename the box on an anvil, specifying the recipient's name. When placing the block, this name will be displayed above the gift. After renaming, place the box, open it (like a chest), and put your gifts inside.

To protect the contents from outsiders, only the player whose name is on the box, as well as the one who placed it, can open the gift. This ensures that your surprises won't be stolen by unwanted individuals.

Additionally, when the block is destroyed, all items inside are preserved, similar to a shulker box. So thieves will be left empty-handed — be kind and generous!

The crafting recipe for the gift is very simple: place paper around a chest on the crafting table. Then you can dye the box any color by combining it with dye in the crafting grid.
