Glamorous

Mod Overview
Glamorous is a mod for Minecraft version 1.19.2 built on the Forge platform. The main purpose of this addition is to provide players with an extensive collection of cosmetic items for changing the appearance of tools and weapons through a glamour/transmogrification system.
This modification was originally developed as a server resource, so cosmetic items are unavailable in survival mode. They can only be obtained through creative mode or using the /give command. If you want to make these items available for purchase in the game world, we recommend using additional mods such as Shoppy by Thethonk.
Important information: Glamorous development is no longer active. Do not expect further mod updates.

Christmas Update v1.04
Version 1.04 added festive candy cane tools to create a Christmas atmosphere!

How to Use
This mod significantly expands the functionality of the standard smithing table in the game. Now it can be used not only for upgrading armor to netherite but also for applying glamour effects to tools and weapons.
The process of applying cosmetic changes is quite simple: when you have a glamour item, you use it on an unenchanted diamond or netherite tool/weapon through the smithing table. Although glamours are applied only to unenchanted items, after application they can be enchanted using the usual methods available for the corresponding tools.
Both diamond and netherite items with glamour retain the same enchantability as their vanilla counterparts. Tool repair is done using either diamonds or netherite ingots - depending on the material from which the original item was created.
Future Plans
Although active development is suspended, the following was previously planned:
- Adding new sets of glamours
- Collaboration with texture creators to increase variety
- Seasonal item sets (Christmas set already implemented!)
