Golden Agriculture

I am developing a comprehensive remake and sequel of the Golden Agriculture mod for version 1.16.5. The original version will remain available and supported until a remake version for 1.18.2 is released.

The Golden Apple has become an iconic element of Minecraft since its introduction to the game. Although they are not as valuable as they once were, what if we made them even more accessible?

Important: The functionality of this mod almost completely overlaps with some features added to Chaos Awakens.

Mod Features

Basic Golden Products:

• Candy Cane - festive candy made from smelted sugar
• Golden Bread - restores 8 hunger and 10 saturation
• Golden Chicken - 6 hunger and 8 saturation, gives Strength for 30 seconds
• Golden Clownfish - 4 hunger and 5 saturation, allows walking on water for 90 seconds and Regeneration for 2 minutes
• Golden Cod - 5 hunger and 6 saturation, Regeneration for 10 seconds
• Golden Porkchop - 8 hunger and 13 saturation, Strength for 30 seconds
• Golden Melon - 8 hunger and 5 saturation, can be grown from golden melon seeds
• Golden Mushroom Stew - 6 hunger and 7 saturation, Speed for 35 seconds
• Golden Steak - restores 8 hunger and 13 saturation, Strength for 20 seconds
• Golden Cookie - 2 hunger and 1 saturation, Regeneration for 5 seconds
• Golden Potato - 6 hunger and 7 saturation, Regeneration for 20 seconds
• Golden Pumpkin Pie - 8 hunger and 5 saturation, Night Vision for 30 seconds
• Golden Flesh - 4 hunger and 5 saturation, Saturation for 20 seconds
• Golden Pufferfish - 4 hunger and 5 saturation, Poison for 5 seconds, Night Vision for 90 seconds, Water Breathing for 3 minutes
• Golden Salmon - 8 hunger and 9 saturation, Speed II for 90 seconds and Jump Boost for 90 seconds
• Golden Sweet Berries - fastest eating speed of any food in the game
• Golden Cake - 2 hunger per slice, 5 uses, Regeneration for 10 seconds
• Golden Candy Cane - Haste for 15 seconds, Speed for 30 seconds, Jump Boost for 30 seconds

Enchanted Golden Products:

• Enchanted Golden Carrot - 8 hunger and 9 saturation, Absorption for 1 minute, Night Vision for 1 minute, Regeneration III for 30 seconds
• Enchanted Golden Steak - 10 hunger and 12 saturation, Strength II for 90 seconds, Absorption for 45 seconds, Regeneration for 90 seconds
• Enchanted Golden Cod - 8 hunger and 9 saturation, Regeneration III for 30 seconds, Water Breathing for 45 seconds
• Enchanted Golden Cookie - 4 hunger and 5 saturation, Speed for 50 seconds, Regeneration for 30 seconds
• Enchanted Golden Cake - 2 hunger, Regeneration II for 1 minute and Strength for 1 minute 20 seconds. Each slice gives a gold ingot when eaten
• Enchanted Golden Candy Cane - Haste II for 30 seconds, Speed II for 45 seconds, Jump Boost II for 45 seconds, Strength for 15 seconds, Regeneration for 15 seconds, Christmas Spirit (new effect) for 20 seconds

Agricultural Elements:

• Golden Melon Seeds - gradually grow into golden melon blocks
• Golden Sapling - grows into golden apple tree
• Golden Leaves - chance to drop golden apples when broken

Exclusive Items:

• Ultimate Apple - 10 hunger and 16 saturation, Strength III for 195 seconds, Health Boost III for 270 seconds, Regeneration IV for 4 minutes, Resistance for 360 seconds, Fire Resistance for 360 seconds

• Golden Reindeer Apparition - appear when under Christmas Spirit effect, protect player from nearby monsters for 20 seconds

Future Plans

All golden products will be cultivable in a balanced way. There is a high probability of golden farm animals appearing, as well as potential plans for rare golden enemy variants. A comprehensive remake is planned but cannot be confirmed.

Version Compatibility

For 1.19.2: When all features are stabilized in 1.18.2, then it's possible.

For Fabric: Community porting is possible if skills are available.

The mod was created using the MCreator program. Inspired by DmgVol's ShinyFood mod, which adds more golden food to the game.
