Golden Potions

The Golden Potions mod fundamentally changes how golden food items work in Minecraft. You can no longer eat them, but instead gain the ability to brew potions from them that provide the same effects they previously gave when consumed.

Key Features

• Golden apples can be used to brew Potions of Absorption, granting the Absorption effect when used
• Enchanted golden apples become the base for Elixirs of Life - unique potions that replicate all effects previously gained from eating enchanted golden apples
• All new potions have splash and lingering variants, and lingering versions can be used to craft tipped arrows, similar to other tipped arrows
• Potion of Absorption comes in regular, strong, and long-lasting versions, while Elixir of Life only has the basic form
• Golden apples, enchanted golden apples, and golden carrots become inedible (this feature can be disabled for each food item separately in the mod configuration)
• Creative mode tabs automatically adjust based on current mod settings
