GregTechFoodOption-Meowmel: GTCEu Compatibility Fix
GregTechFoodOption-Meowmel is a specialized version of the modification created to resolve interaction issues between the original GregTech Food Option (GTFO) and the modern version of GregTech Community Edition Unofficial (GTCEu). This fork preserves all key features of the base mod while ensuring stable operation with current GTCEu builds.
Main Project Objectives
The primary goal of development was to solve technical incompatibilities arising from the joint use of GTFO and GTCEu. The mod fixes recipe conflicts, machine interaction errors, and progression issues that could block gameplay advancement.
All original GTFO mechanics are preserved, including:
- Chemical synthesis of food products (e.g., 2-acetylpyridine production)
- New production devices: electric baking ovens and bioreactors
- Special status effects: creative flight and addiction system
Technical Features
The mod requires the following dependencies:
- GTCEu (main mod)
- CodeChickenLib (auxiliary library)
- MixinBooter/MixinBootstrap (modification system)
The project supports configurable integration with other modifications, including NuclearCraft, EnderIO, and AppleCore's hunger modification system. All these options can be enabled or disabled through configuration files.
