GSOC: Caverns & Chasms Patch
This mod serves as a compatibility patch that seamlessly integrates various Caverns & Chasms components with the GSOC module, ensuring harmonious interaction between all elements.
For full functionality, the following modifications are required:
- Caverns & Chasms - the main mod
- GSOC - compatibility bridge between Galosphere, Spelunkery and Oreganized (which, in turn, also requires installation of Galosphere, Spelunkery and Oreganized)
Features and Changes
Spinel Integration
New varieties of spinel ore appear in the world, crafted from various stone types - andesite, diorite, granite and tuff. Additional items and blocks have been added: spinel shards, rough spinel, rough spinel shards and rough spinel blocks. All these new elements function in an intuitive and expected manner, with the exception of rough spinel blocks - they do not generate naturally in the world.
Silver Integration
The patch completely removes silver ore generation from Caverns & Chasms in the world, replacing it with Oreganized's silver in all corresponding crafting recipes. Some silver items from Caverns & Chasms no longer appear in chest loot. Mining soul silver ore and silverfish now yields raw silver nuggets from Spelunkery instead of Caverns & Chasms silver nuggets. Visual harmonization work has also been done - some silver items from Caverns & Chasms have received new textures that better match Oreganized's color palette.
Important Note
Items with disabled crafting recipes still appear in creative mode tabs. If necessary, they can be completely removed using appropriate item management utilities.
