About the Mod

Guarding is a compact Fabric mod that significantly expands shield functionality in Minecraft. The mod introduces new mechanics and unique enchantments, with most features being customizable to suit your preferences.

Key Features

Parrying - master the technique of timely blocking to push back enemies and deflect incoming projectiles.

Pummeling Enchantment - enhances the knockback effect when successfully parrying.

Barbed Enchantment - imbues your shield with thorns properties, dealing damage to attacking enemies.

Netherite Shield - a durable shield variant with increased strength, fire resistance, and knockback resistance.

Shield Customization - the netherite shield supports using armor patterns instead of banners for personalizing appearance.

Instant Blocking - shields now activate much faster, similar to combat test versions.
