GuildBridge
This cosmetic modification for Minecraft version 1.8.9 allows customization of the appearance of messages in the Hypixel guild chat that come through the Discord bridge.
Installation and configuration
- Install Forge for Minecraft 1.8.9
- Download the modification file from the downloads page and place it in the .minecraft/mods folder (if this folder doesn't exist, create it manually)
- Launch the game
- In the main menu or pause menu, open the Mod Options section to configure the modification settings
- Add the nicknames of accounts from which the Discord bridge operates to the Bridge Usernames list
- Set up the guild message format - use variables $username to display the username and $message for the message text
- After configuration, all messages from the specified accounts will display with the new format
Future improvements
- Customization of outgoing messages
- Possibility to use a guild tag instead of the username
