GustoCraft

This mod serves as a vivid example of how mods should not be made. GustoCraft was created by a group of friends at the age of 14, and the result turned out rather unsuccessful. Unlike professional developments, this mod collects all possible mistakes of novice modmakers.

Main drawbacks and content

The mod contains a mismatched collection of elements executed without a unified style. Textures of different resolutions - 64x, 32x and 16x are mixed together in one project, creating visual chaos. The elements collected here generally look quite sloppy.

Among the content you can find:

• Special mana stones and a mana bar to track its level
• A drilling tool that requires mana consumption to use
• Transformation crystals for creating certain items
• Rings with various abilities
• Ice skates for walking on water, which make normal movement difficult
• Night vision goggles
• Poorly executed jumpers and jeans
• Mana stars and ingots made from crystals 814x scaled down - bat wing with texture created from a reduced image of a real bat wing
• Eagle mob with one wing and missing textures

Special mention should be made of the poorly written program code and many other controversial design decisions. The mod was created for Minecraft version 1.6.4, which further limits its modern applicability.
