Hardened Armadillos: An Honest Approach to Obtaining Armor Plates

The game developers added armadillos to Minecraft, but due to excessive caution, implemented obtaining their protective plates in a gentle way - either the animal sheds them on its own, or the player carefully brushes them off. In our opinion, this approach lacks logic, no matter how soft that brush is.

This modification corrects the situation by introducing a more realistic and principled mechanic for obtaining the valuable resource. It includes three key changes to armadillo behavior:

• Completely excludes brushing as an unjustifiably cruel method
• Removes the possibility of spontaneous plate shedding (as if they were laying eggs)
• Adds armor plates to the loot table when killing armadillos
