Headpat a Friend!

Important Note! Although Modrinth classifies this project as a plugin, it is essentially a Fabric mod! The plugin version is available solely to ensure compatibility between clients on PaperMC servers.

Have you ever felt the desire to reach out your hand, place it on a friend's head, and gently stroke it to express your affection? Now you have that opportunity! This mod allows you to pat other players on the head by simply holding the right mouse button over their head. All cute creatures of various shapes and sizes can rejoice!

Setup and Installation

For the mod to function fully, it must be installed on both the client and server. For Paper server owners, a plugin version is available.

If you use the mod on a server where it is not installed, you will still be able to pat other players, but these actions will not be visible to other participants, even if they have this mod installed.

Connecting to a server with the mod installed without having it on the client is fully supported. Players with the mod installed will see and can give pats, while those without it cannot.

Configuration

The mod supports integration with Mod Menu and YACL, allowing you to change settings directly in the game. Several small preference-based settings are available:

• First-person camera sway intensity
• Making purring sounds when being petted
