HeadsPlus - Advanced Skull Capabilities for Minecraft
HeadsPlus represents one of the most multifunctional plugins for working with heads, taking Minecraft's standard capabilities to a completely new level. This tool transforms ordinary skulls - one of the most valuable items in the game - into a powerful instrument for servers with unique mechanics.
Originally created as a replacement for outdated analogues, the plugin has evolved into an independent project with regular updates and continuous developer support. It not only restores classic functions but also adds numerous innovative capabilities.
Main Features
The plugin offers three different commands for obtaining player heads and custom skulls: /head, /heads and /myhead. The blacklist and whitelist system allows controlling which specific heads players can place, which is particularly useful for filtering inappropriate content.
One of the key features is the system of entity head drops upon death, with almost all parameters of this system (99%) being customizable to suit your needs. This includes configuring textures, names, drop chances, descriptions, and mask effects.
Crafting and Economy
The crafting function allows creating heads using shapeless recipes (typically including an empty skull and specific material) or configured recipes with specific shapes. The head selling system with fully customizable prices requires Vault to function.
Three different leaderboards allow comparing player achievements in hunting, selling, and crafting. The plugin includes hundreds of pre-built challenges with customizable rewards.
Additional Functions
The mask system applies potion effects of your choice when worn. The "pick up" function for heads using the "pick block" button simplifies interaction with items. MySQL support ensures reliable storage of leaderboard data.
The plugin supports Minecraft versions from 1.15.2 to 1.19 and includes a debugging mechanism to simplify error detection and resolution. Most messages in the plugin are fully customizable, as is the leveling system.
It's important to note that HeadsPlus is not an extensive database - it offers a limited set of heads (around 200) but allows adding your own. The main goal is to provide quality functions rather than compete with premium database plugins.
Requirements
Java 8 is required for operation, and Vault is necessary as a soft dependency for some functions.
