Hearths

Hearths is a lightweight data pack that enriches the vanilla Nether with new elements and structures. The modification affects three main biomes: Nether Wastes, Crimson Forest, and Warped Forest, bringing diversity and uniqueness to them.

🌋 Updated Biomes

Nether Wastes have undergone significant changes—now you can find sharp netherrack formations resembling stalactites and stalagmites, as well as small lakes of magma and blackstone. These additions transform the once-deserted lands into more dangerous and cave-like territories.

Crimson and Warped Forests have also been developed: added stone boulders of blackstone, fallen fungus stems, and peculiar giant fungal formations. The density of vegetation in these biomes has been slightly increased, making them more lively and saturated.

🏰 New Structures

Crimson and Warped Towers now appear in the forests. These tall structures (almost 100 blocks high) not only contain valuable resources and enemies but can also serve as makeshift "elevators" for moving between different levels of the Nether.

⚙️ Compatibility

The data pack is compatible with most mods and other data packs that alter Nether generation, such as Amplified Nether. However, full compatibility is not guaranteed with modifications that affect biome files. The towers will still appear in any case.
