Hello There

The "Hello There" mod is a server-side data pack that automatically gives players starting items when they first join the server or world. This is an excellent solution for creating a welcoming atmosphere and helping newcomers at the beginning of their adventure.

In addition to giving items, the system allows executing various commands, playing sound effects, and creating particles when players join. All this makes the process of appearing in the world more exciting and personalized.

By default, newcomers receive 64 baked potatoes. If the "Waystones" mod by KawaMood is installed on the server, a standard Waystone is additionally provided. This demonstrates how custom items from other mods can be integrated into the welcome system.

Configuration is done by unpacking the data pack and editing the data/wlc/functions/newplayer.mcfunction file. The developers paid special attention to performance optimization, so the mod doesn't create lag or overload the server.
