Hex Gloop - The Gooiest Hex Casting Addon

Hex Gloop is an expansion for Hex Casting that adds numerous new exciting items, blocks, quality of life improvements, and several new spells.

Client-Side Features

These features work on the client side even without HexGloop installed on the server.

• Pattern visualization - patterns display as they're drawn instead of text representation HexPattern(Direction, AngleSignature). They can also be entered in chat and on signs.
• Spell wheels - radial menu for quick navigation through the spellbook and page switching. There's a hotkey for opening the menu, pages can be selected with mouse or number keys.
• Scroll hotkeys - keys that duplicate the Shift-scroll action for Hex items.
• Book opening hotkey - quick access to the Hex book during casting.
• Media and pigment tooltips - display of media cost for items and pigment preview.

New Casting Methods

• Frogi - energetic frog that casts when attempting a double jump.
• Inventorty - cute cat that casts from your inventory and likes to rearrange items.
• Hex Pickaxe - powerful pickaxe that casts when mining resources.
• Hex Blade - sword with media-edged blade that casts when attacking.
• Casting Ring - ring that allows casting without a staff.

New Aesthetic Items

• New staffs - based on Minecraft items and materials, various media, and holiday themes.
• Dyeable staffs - all staffs can be dyed like leather armor.
• Covered spellbooks - regular spellbooks but dyeable and fireproof.
• Essence stones - allow capturing creature essence and using their spawn egg colors as pigment.
• Gloop Dye - dyes items using RGB values, compatible with many items from other mods.

New Circle Components

Circle Components

• Pedestals - allow embedding non-pattern iotas in the circle.
• Syncetrix - transmits media waves over short distances for "wireless" circles.
• Accelerator - speeds up circle operation.
• Undulator - emits redstone signal when media wave passes through.
• Gloopy slate chest - provides inventory for the circle to draw blocks and items from.

Additional Features

• Focal jewelry - wearable foci that can be read and written while worn.
• Scripts - similar to foci but can only contain lists of up to 16 patterns.
• Multi focus - item similar to pre-End spellbook with fewer slots.
• Truename protection - chat warnings when revealing true name and new spell to remove references to it.
• Scroll copying - right-clicking Hex book on hanging scroll copies current page pattern onto scroll.
• Casting potion - casts when consumed, perfect for shops.
• Fidgets and Mind's Orchard - items for selecting states in spells.
• Caster's coins - coins storing iota that can only be read once.
• Mirrors - reflect another item into offhand for use in spells.
