Hoe Tweaks (Legacy Fabric)

A modification that significantly enhances the functionality of the hoe in Minecraft, making agricultural work more convenient and efficient. The mod is fully customizable to suit your preferences.

Main Features

Accelerated Harvesting

The hoe now breaks pumpkins and melons several times faster. This saves time when harvesting large plantations.

Extended Tilling Area

Depending on the hoe material, you get an increased land tilling area:

• Wooden: standard 1×1 area
• Stone: 3×3 area
• Golden: 5×5 area
• Iron: 5×5 area
• Diamond: 7×7 area
• Netherite: 9×9 area

By default, the extended area is activated when crouching while using the hoe.

Untilling Ability

Right-clicking on tilled soil returns it to its original state. This function only works when the other hand is empty, allowing simultaneous seed planting.

Balance and Durability

Using the extended tilling area consumes hoe durability for each additional block. The Unbreaking enchantment is taken into account.

Configuration

The mod offers a flexible configuration system:

• onlyUntillWithOtherHandEmpty (default: true) - untilling works only with empty other hand
• cropBlockBreakSpeedModifier (default: 8.0) - pumpkin and melon breaking speed multiplier
• mustCrouchToHaveBiggerHoeRange (default: true) - extended area only when crouching
• Radius settings for each hoe type from 0 to 32 blocks

Technical Requirements

Requires installation of Collective (Fabric) and Fabric API.
