Homeostatic - Realistic Temperature and Thirst System
A modification that adds a well-thought-out body temperature and thirst mechanics to Minecraft, based on real physical principles. The system creates an interesting challenge but doesn't turn the game into endless routine. The code features high stability and doesn't cause random game crashes. Integrates perfectly with both vanilla version and modded packs.

Environmental Temperature
The temperature system is calculated based on a comprehensive approach considering multiple factors including humidity and solar radiation. Standard Minecraft biome temperatures have been reworked to create more realistic conditions that players can easily understand and feel.
The presence of snow doesn't mean extreme cold - the system accounts for real temperature distribution in mixed biomes. Smooth temperature transition between neighboring biomes is also implemented. If your pack includes Serene Seasons or Fabric Seasons mods, the system automatically accounts for seasonal changes.
Thirst System
Thirst level directly depends on environmental temperature, body temperature, and character's physical activity. Water becomes a vital resource - when overheated, the body rapidly loses moisture, which can lead to negative effects and even death.
Body Temperature Regulation
Body temperature can be controlled using special armor modifications and heat sources. Any armor can be "sewn" with special upgrades providing various degrees of protection against temperature effects.
Realistic Cold Mechanics
Unlike other modifications where cold is presented as a form of energy, here a more logical approach is used. Decrease in body temperature due to lack of heat gradually leads to negative consequences up to lethal outcome. Being in wet clothes becomes especially dangerous - water significantly accelerates body cooling (unless you're suffering from overheating).
Thermal Radiation
Blocks generating heat are evaluated not by temperature but by the level of thermal radiation they emit. This determines how "hot" it will be to be near such objects.
