Horseshoes
A mod that adds horseshoes to the game! These special accessories can not only be equipped on horses but also enchanted to make your faithful companion even faster and more resilient.
Types of Horseshoes
The mod includes three types of horseshoes: iron, golden, and diamond.
- Iron Horseshoes: increase movement speed by 4 blocks per second and provide protection equivalent to 1.75 armor bars.
- Golden Horseshoes: provide a speed boost of 8 blocks per second, but protection is only 1.25 armor bars.
- Diamond Horseshoes: increase speed by 6 blocks per second and offer the most reliable protection — 2.75 armor bars.
How to Obtain Horseshoes
Iron and diamond horseshoes can be purchased from village armorsmiths or found in chests scattered throughout the Overworld. Golden horseshoes are rarer — they can be found in chests in Nether fortresses and bastions.
Enchanting
Using an anvil, players can apply enchantments typically used on boots to horseshoes. This opens up new possibilities — for example, with the "frost walker" enchantment, your horse can easily cross bodies of water.
