Hot or Not TFC - Temperature Protection for TerraFirmaCraft

Hot or Not TFC is a specialized version of the popular Hot or Not mod, adapted to work with the TerraFirmaCraft: The Next Generation modification. This addon is a fork of Hot or Not+ and retains all the core functions of the original mod, but with important changes for TFC compatibility.

The main innovation in this version is full integration with the TerraFirmaCraft tool tier system. The mod adds missing metal tong types corresponding to various development levels in TFC, from I to V. Iron tongs have also been replaced with wrought iron tongs for greater authenticity.

Additionally, redundant recipes from the vanilla Hot or Not version have been removed and item textures have been updated for better visual alignment with the TerraFirmaCraft style.

Compatibility Features

For metal tong crafting recipes to work, the TFC Tech Unofficial mod or any other mod that adds items with the oreDictionary tag "stickMETALNAME" is required. Meanwhile, mitts and wooden tongs remain craftable in the standard TFC version with Hot or Not TFC.

In development plans is the addition of the ability to forge these items on an anvil, which would better match the TerraFirmaCraft gameplay.

• White and black lists for custom items
