Humans Mod

Humans is a modification that adds... exactly that, humans to the game! They're not quite full-fledged players, but so similar that you might consider them your friends.

Note: The mod is currently in beta testing and may not provide a complete gameplay experience. It's recommended to create backup saves before installation.

Currently implemented features:

You can rename these new characters using name tags, which allows changing their appearance (use special code to preserve original skin)

They can pick up thrown items and use them for self-defense or healing

The relationship system allows improving these creatures' disposition by giving them various items. When trust reaches maximum level (which can be instantly achieved by offering an enchanted golden apple), use a stick to make them your best friends. In this state, they will follow you, and their attachment won't diminish over time.

Autonomous beings can engage in combat with most hostile mobs (except endermen) and defend themselves against aggressive players

Developers promise further improvements, including refinement of the relationship system and the ability to leave NPCs to guard specific territories
