Hungering Mod

The Hungering modification opens up possibilities for controlled hunger reduction in Minecraft. You can activate the consumption of the saturation bar instantly or configure its automatic depletion over time.

Core Ingredients

The key item in the mod are rotten carrots. They can be consumed at any time, applying the hunger debuff for 6 seconds. In the future, the developers plan to expand the functionality of this ingredient - perhaps it will be able to somehow affect horses when feeding them.

Torc - The Main Device

From a rotten carrot combined with four wooden planks and an iron block, a magical ornament is created - the torc. This ancient type of neckwear represents a flexible metal ring that can be worn on the neck, wrist, or even ankle.

The torc features two operating modes:

• Direct activation - instantly reduces hunger level
• Activation while holding Shift - gradual saturation reduction over time

Each device usage, regardless of method, consumes its durability. It's important to note that the torc affects only the hunger level, without touching the saturation parameter (which in some modifications is displayed as a yellow outline around the standard hunger bar).

Settings and Compatibility

The mod offers a flexible configuration system:

• Maximum torc durability
• Frequency of automatic hunger consumption
• Number of hunger units consumed (1 unit = half a standard icon)
• Option to disable the torc recipe
• Settings for torc and rotten carrots spawning in loot chests

Note: Currently requires the Baubles mod by Azanor to function. In future versions, this dependency will become optional.
