HWYLA (pronounced "Hwhy-la", similar to "Coo-Hwhip")

Hwyla is available for both Forge and Fabric.

This is a fork of the mod WAILA created by ProfMobius. This version is permitted under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

All plugins, addons, and compatibilities created for the original mod are 100% compatible with this version.

Useful but Lesser-Known Features

• By default, the Numpad 3 and Numpad 4 keys allow viewing crafting recipes for blocks in the world through JEI. This function requires JEI to be installed.
• Colors and text formatting in tooltips can be customized directly in the game through the "Waila" configuration menu by selecting the "Format content..." option.
• If there are issues with tooltip handlers from other mods, you can use the /dumphandlers command, which will create a text file with all registered handlers and the object types they are associated with.
• Starting from version 1.12, there is a feature for narrating tooltips using the system's text-to-speech, which will vocalize information about what you are looking at.
• If displaying the item in the tooltip seems redundant, this option can be disabled.

Usage in Modpacks

Hwyla can be freely included in modpacks.
