Hyle

Hyle: The primordial matter of the cosmos from which the four elements arose according to the doctrines of Empedocles and Aristotle.

The Hyle mod provides a tool for modifying Minecraft's underground world by allowing the replacement of one type of underground material with another. For instance, you can replace regular stone with various rock types or change different types of soil and ground.

The main feature of Hyle is its powerful configuration system through datapacks. The mod divides the game world into different regions, each capable of using its own set of stone types. You can define which blocks will be replaced in each specific region.

Functionality includes:

• Stone regions: configuration of different stone type sets for various world areas
• Stone types: definition of replacement rules for base blocks, dirt, grass, and other resources

Hyle was initially created as a library mod for the Unearthed project, but expansion of its capabilities is planned for the future.
