I Like Wood

Mod Overview

The I Like Wood mod significantly expands woodworking possibilities in Minecraft by adding various wooden blocks and items for all wood types available in the game.

What the Mod Adds

The mod creates complete sets of wooden blocks for each wood species, including tables, chairs, stools, crates, paintings, campfires, posts, sawmills, and item frames. Each block is carefully designed and matches the style of the original game.

Important Information

Starting from version 1.19, mod settings have been moved to the configuration file at %appdata%/.minecraft/config/ilikewood-common.toml. For versions 1.18.2 and below, additional mods are required for configuration.

Biomes O' Plenty users on versions prior to 1.16.5 need to install the corresponding datapack in the world's datapack folder.

When updating to version 1.16.5, the contents of chests and barrels will be deleted, and lecterns will require replacement. It is recommended to create a backup and move items to other containers before updating.

The mod's custom blocks currently cannot be used as villager job sites.

The mod supports integration with popular mods through plugins and has full JEI support for convenient recipe viewing.
