Industrial Wires - Extension for Immersive Engineering
Industrial Wires is an addon for the popular Immersive Engineering mod that significantly expands its functionality in the areas of energy and electronics.
Compatibility with IndustrialCraft 2
One of the key features of the mod is integration with IndustrialCraft 2. If you have IC2 installed, you gain access to special Immersive Engineering-style wires capable of transmitting EU energy. All devices added by this mod can operate using both IC2 EU energy and ForgeEnergy/RF.
- Wires for transmitting EU energy with recipes described in the manual
- Lossy converters between IE's rotational energy (windmills, water mills) and IC2's kinetic energy
High Voltage Systems and Electronics
The mod adds several interesting devices for working with high voltage:
- Control panels - modern interfaces for system monitoring
- Jacob's ladders - decorative elements creating visually appealing electrical arcs
- Marx generators - devices for ore processing using lightning and high voltage. Require some calculations for efficient use but can also be used as weapons without additional computations
The textures and models are partially based on Immersive Engineering resources, partially created by developers C8H8O4 and the mod author.
